08/30/2019 the premises of the Belgrade Assembly marked the International Day of the Missing Persons.
According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, another 10,167 persons are missing in the region, missing during the 1990s conflict in the former Yugoslavia. Of the total number of missing, 3,900 are Serbs. Authorities in Serbia say that everything is done, while different messages come from the region.
The president of the Missing Persons Commission, Veljko Odalovic, said that Serbia is seriously committed to searching for the missing, but that the answers to the questions are not only in Belgrade.
War crimes prosecutor Snezana Stanojkovic also attended the commemorative academy.
