 INTRODUCTION

In the period between the two issues of Pravda u tranziciji in Belgrade was rendered the verdict (in the first instance) for “Ovcara”, and the trials for the “Zvornik group” and the “Scorpios” begun. Ongoing are the trial for Anton Lekaj, and dozens of investigations in the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office.

None of these would have been possible if there were no regional cooperation in war crime proceedings. Likewise, witnesses from Serbia would not have appeared before the County Court in split. It is absurd, the former Yugoslav republics are linked together through war crime trials. The fate of the reachable justice.

Pravda u tranziciji was presented in December in Opatija, at the meeting of the Croatian Association for Criminal Law Sciences and Practice, and before that in Sarajevo to journalists, the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office in Bosnia-Herzegovina, afterwards in Bratunac, Potocari.

Sefer Halilovic was in these days declared free from charges before The Hague Tribunal, at the airport which used to carry the name “Butmir”, he was met with ovation. For crimes committed in Dretelj somebody must be responsible. After that, Ante Gotovina in The Hague. Demonstrations in Split, Zadar, Zagreb. The Croatian President Stipe Mesic appeals. He says that the youth does not know the history.

In the “Mladic dossier” pages are missing. Pages of our history?
