As a member of the Republic of Srpska’s Army (VRS), the accused is charged with involvement – together with other armed and still unidentified VRS members – in the killing, unlawful arrests and rapes of Bosniak civilians in villages Glogova and Repovac, municipality Bratunac. In village Repovac, aided and abetted by another unidentified VRS member, the accused unlawfully arrested female witnesses VS1 and VS2, forced the two into a passenger vehicle and drove them to a forest above village Milići, where the accused raped VS1. The accused kept the two witnesses as slaves and threatened to kill them if they failed to comply with his orders. He also took VS1 to his home in Milići, where he locked her inside a room on the upper floor. On repeated occasions throughout the following night, the accused entered the room and raped his victim. The next day, 10 May 1992, the accused released VS1 at around 9 a.m. and allowed her to leave in the direction of the local bus station.

The BH Prosecutor’s Office referred this case to the Serbian judicial authorities through the BH and Serbian Justice Ministries. АА from Belgrade, charged with the criminal offence under article 142 (1) (war crime against civilian population) of the FRY Criminal Act, is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia and has permanent residence in this country.
