Background facts

According to the indictment allegations, the accused, AA, was involved in the same crime as the one accused in Bihać I (see the related case). Charges against AA - at the time soldier of the Republic of Srpska's Army (RSA) - also included the killing of 5 Bosnian Muslim civilians in the surrounding villages within that same day. On 23 Septembar 1992, AA, accompanied by a group of RSA soldiers - members of the Rajinovac Company, launched an attack on the Muslim civilian population in village Duljci, municipal area of Bihać, BH. Using their firearms and knives, the soldiers took the lives of 18 civilians and inflicted long-term injuries on another. Shortly following the massacre, the victims' bodies were set on fire. Earlier that day, AA took part in another killing campaign in the surrounding villages, which resulted in the deaths of of 5 Muslim civilians.

Two suspects deceased in the course of proceedings.
The Court in Bihać also instituted proceedings against BB, but due to his unavailability to the BH authorities, the case was referred to the Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor.
