Court passes first instance judgment for Bratunac crimes

On 23 September 2019, the Higher Court in Belgrade - War Crimes Department passed its first instance judgment (ref. K.Po2 8/18) in the case addressing a series of crimes committed in Bratunac, BH throughout May 1992. The court found defendant BB guilty of the criminal offence under article 142 (1) (war crime against civilian population) in re article 22 of the FRY Criminal Act and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
