Several bilateral meetings including the one between the Serbian and BH Prosecutors' teams were held within the framework of the Regional Prosecutors' conference which took place earlier this week.

Headed by Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Snežana Stanojković and BH Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, the two delegations met in Belgrade to discuss current developments in the area of judicial cooperation between their respective Offices.

The meeting addressed regional cooperation in fighting impunity for war crimes, as well as the importance of international cooperation in war crimes processing. Judicial cooperation should serve as a role model of good regional interaction aimed at securing justice to victims, as well as stability and progress across the region.

Additional emphasis was placed on the importance of timely exchange of information between prosecution services.

The two delegations' meeting was joined by Mrs Zagorka Dolovac, the Republic's Public Prosecutor, who greeted the participants and voiced her full support to cooperation between the two countries' prosecution services in war crimes processing.
