FIRST-INSTANCE JUDGMENT IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE ACCUSED NEZIR MEHMETAJ ADOPTED AND PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED

In the criminal proceedings conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes, the Higher Court in Belgrade - War Crimes Department, on 6 December 2024, rendered and publicly announced a verdict by which Nezir Mehmetaj was found guilty of committing the criminal offense of War Crimes against the Civilian Population under Article 142, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the FRY, and sentenced to 6 (six) years in prison.
