First-instance verdict against Danko Vladičić for war crimes in Brod na Drini, Foča municipality, pronounced

According to the indictment of the Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor of the Republic of Serbia, the Higher Court in Belgrade - Department for War Crimes issued a verdict by which the accused Danko Vladičić was sentenced to a prison term of 9 (nine) years, for the criminal offense of war crimes against the civilian population under Article 142.1 of the CC of the FRY.

The defendant was pronounced guilty of killing two civilians in Brod na Drini, Foča municipality, during the evening of 18 August 1992, and during the non-international conflict on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus violating the rules of international law.
