Information about the cases and indictments handled by the Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor (OWCP) is currently unavailable on its website. The format of these documents is being updated and processed in line with the Personal Data Protection Act and with the Rules of the Annonymization of Personal Information in OWCP Indictments, passed on 20 March 2019.
The foregoing activities have been undertaken upon the initiative of the Commissioner in charge of Public Information and Personal Data Protection. Namely, in his letter of 06 March 2019, the Commissioner informed this Office that its web presentation included details which were - in terms of the presentation purpose - inappropriate and unnecessary within the meaning of article 8 (6) of the Personal Data Protection Act.
