War Crimes Prosecutor attends round table on Exhumations and Identification of Missing Persons

Abducted Truth, the Belgrade-based Family Association of Missing Persons from Kosovo-Metohija headed by Ms Verica Tomanović, held the round table conference entitled The Exhumations and Identification of Missing Persons. Oganised in cooperation with the Serbian Government's Commission on Missing Persons, Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor,. International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Red Cross of Serbia, the conference took place at the Palace Hotel in Belgrade.

War Crimes Prosecutor Snežana Stanojković emphasised the commitment of her Office to finding each missing person. Prosecutor Stanojković said that any new information might help the efforts to clarify the destiny of the missing. The Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor is open 24 hours a day for anybody who may wish to share their knowledge in that respect, the Prosecutor concluded.
