INFORMATION Organisation of work in the Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor (OWCP) During the COVID-19 pandemic, starting from 24 November 2020

In compliance with the Republic of Serbia’s Government Decision on the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS – Cov 2 infectious disease;

 In consideration of reports on sharply increasing numbers of persons affected by this virus;

 With a view to reducing the risks of spreading the infectious disease and thus protecting the health of its staff,   

This Office – starting from 24 November 2020 – has introduced the following measures:

   -    Visits to the OWCP premises will not be allowed;

  •  Those interested in particular OWCP cases will be able to obtain relevant information from 09:00 to 12:00 h, exclusively at phone no. 011 30 82 660. Such information will be available in the form of brief notifications relating to the particular case status and scheduled procedural activities requiring their presence;

 

  • Official mail / submissions will be received from 09:00 to 13:00 h, at the reception counter on the ground floor of the seat of the Higher Court in Belgrade;

 

  • All submissions relating to cases addressed by this Office may also be delivered by e-mail, at kabinet@trz.org.rs.

 

 Any other OWCP activities will be continued in a regular manner, with the organisation of the work process in line with the protection measures prescribed by the competent state authorities aimed at fighting the COVID-19 infectious disease. Furthermore, pursuant to the Republic’s Public Prosecutor’s Instruction A no. 377/20, this Office will operate in accordance with the Serbian Government’s measures effective as of 24 November 2020, matching its activities with those of the Higher and Appellate Courts in Belgrade, i.e. their respective War Crimes Departments.
