According to the indictment of the Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor of the Republic of Serbia, the High Court in Belgrade, War Crimes Department, has convicted the accused Osman Osmanović to 5 years in prison for a war crime against civilians from Article 142 (1) of the Criminal Code of the FRY in co-perpetration in regards to Article 22 of the Criminal Code.
The accused, as a member of the Brčko Public Security Station, was found guilty of torture, inhumane treatment and bodily injury inflicted on several prisoners of Serbian nationality in the improvised Rasadnik Camp, municipality of Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in May and June 1992 during a non-international armed conflict which existed in the area at the time between Croat-Muslim armed formations on the one hand and Serb armed formations on the other.
