On 9 September 2019, delegations of the Offices of the Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor (OWCP) and of the BH Prosecutor - headed by their respective Chief Prosecutors Snežana Stanojković and Gordana Tadić - visited the seat of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), where they attended a joint meeting with IRMCT Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz and members of his team.
The primary focus of the meeting was on regional cooperation, as well as on that with the Office of the IRMCT Prosecutor. Emphasis was placed on the transfer of cases between the OWCP and its BH counterpart. The participants highlighted the importance of the support provided by the IRMCT Prosecutor's Office in promoting international cooperation in the context of the ongoing UNDP project. Further attention was given to the importance of the Liaison Officers and Interns projects hosted by the IRMCT.
Later that day, Prosecutor Stanojković and her delegation had a separate meeting with the IRMCT Chief Prosecutor and members of his team. The meeting addressed the OWCP activities over the past period, future projects and the accomplishment of goals outlined in the National War Crimes Prosecution Strategy.
